CameraSync: every guest's photos in one shared event album

Guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite, shoot during the event, and you get one album instead of a group-chat chase.

The party ends, and the real work starts: messaging forty people to ask who got a shot of the toast, waiting days for photos to trickle into a group chat, and piecing together an album from whatever turns up. The best candids are always sitting on someone else's phone.

CameraSync is sync.camera's shared event camera. You create an event, guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite, and everyone's photos land in one shared album. No account is required to join, so the only thing left to do after the event is enjoy the pictures.

How CameraSync works

You start by creating an event in sync.camera, giving it a name and picking an end time. That event is the one album everything flows into.

Guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite. No account is required, and the invite link works in any modern phone browser, so a guest can be taking photos within moments of scanning. Installing the iOS or Android app is optional; it adds better camera controls and push notifications for new photos.

From there, photos from every guest land in the one shared event album. Nobody has to forward files or dig through a thread afterwards. For more on how joining works, see QR code invites and guest upload.

Choose when guests see the photos

The host decides when the album opens up, and there are three options. With During, guests see photos live as they are taken. With After the event, the gallery unlocks when the event ends. With Additional delay, it unlocks a set number of hours after the event ends.

That choice lets you keep the surprise for a wedding or let a party's photos stream in live. You pick the mode that fits the occasion. The reveal modes page covers the options in more detail.

Split the event into Moments

Long events have more than one stage. Moments let you break one event into stages such as ceremony, reception and after-party, so the album follows the shape of the day.

Each Moment has its own QR code and its own reveal timing. Guests move between Moments without switching apps, so the same people can keep contributing from the first stage to the last.

Find and keep the best shots

Once the photos are in, you can filter by photographer to narrow the album to one contributor's shots. It is a quick way to find what a particular friend or colleague captured.

When you know which photos you want to keep, export your favorites. See downloads for more.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Deleting an account removes the profile, the events it owns and their photos within 30 days.
