After a party or wedding, the best photos are scattered across a dozen phones. Someone has the toast, someone else has the dance floor, and nobody remembers who to ask. If you searched for a photo booth to download, this is probably the problem you want solved: getting everyone's shots into one place, then keeping the ones you love.
sync.camera does this with a shared event album. Guests join through a QR code or an invite link, add their photos, and you export your favorites. It is event photo sharing rather than booth software, so you will not find kiosk controls or printing here. You can also pair it with a QR code invite to make joining a one-scan step.
Create an event and invite your guests
Start by creating an event. Name it and pick an end time. That is all the setup the album needs before you invite anyone.
Then share the event QR code or the eight-character invite. Guests can join through the invite link in any modern phone browser, and no account is required. The wedding invite screenshot shows the QR code and the invite-sharing controls you will use.
Installing the iOS or Android app is optional. It adds better camera controls and push notifications for new photos, but nobody has to install anything to take part. See QR code invites for more on how joining works.

Choose when guests see the photos
You decide when the gallery opens. The reveal settings screenshot lays out the three options side by side so you can compare them.
During means guests see photos live as they are taken. After the event means the gallery unlocks when the event ends. Additional delay unlocks it a set number of hours after the event ends, which suits a reveal the morning after.
Pick the mode that fits the occasion. Our guide to reveal modes goes deeper on each one.

Browse the album and export your favorites
Once photos are in, browse the shared event album in one place. Every guest's contributions sit together instead of in separate camera rolls.
If you want one friend's shots, use Filter by photographer to narrow the album to that contributor. Then export your favorites. The photo viewer screenshot shows the Save control you will see while looking through an image.
For what exporting covers, read about downloads.

Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to download an app or create an account?
No. Guests can join through the invite link in any modern phone browser, and no account is required. Installing the iOS or Android app is optional and adds better camera controls and push notifications for new photos.
How does sync.camera fit a search for a photo booth to download?
It works as event photo sharing. Guests join an event, contribute photos to its album, and you export your favorites. Dedicated booth controls, printing, and photo-strip templates are not part of what sync.camera describes, so if you need those, look at photo booth apps for events or this wedding photo booth comparison.
Can I download photos from the event?
You can export your favorites. We keep the answer at that level because details such as file formats, resolution, and bulk-download behavior are not specified here.
When can guests see the photos?
You choose from three reveal modes. During shows photos live as they are taken, After the event unlocks the gallery when the event ends, and Additional delay unlocks it a set number of hours after the event ends.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. It is free to start, and the free tier supports up to 7 guest uploaders per event. SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands the guest and photo limits for a single event. Upgrade again only when you create a larger event.
How are event photos protected?
Photos are encrypted in transit, stored in event-scoped buckets, and protected by per-event row-level security. sync.camera does not sell your photos or data, has no ads, and has no cross-app tracking. It does use pseudonymous product analytics and a third-party crash reporter.
