You are the maid of honor, a close friend, or a guest at a bridal shower. You have found the right words for your friend, and you want the day itself to be remembered too. You do not want to chase twelve people for photos afterwards, or ask anyone to sign up for another app just to share a picture of the bride opening a gift. sync.camera collects the photos, not the written messages, so your wishes stay on the card where they belong and the pictures end up in one place.
What is hard right now
- I wrote a lovely note for my friend, but the photos from the shower are scattered across ten phones and one group chat.
- Half the guests are on Android and half are on iPhone, and someone always says they can't open the link.
- I want the bride to see the pictures at the right moment, not have them trickle out mid-party while she is still opening gifts.
- I don't want my friend's shower photos on a site that sells data or shows ads next to her face.
Scenarios
The card table
Guests sit down to write their wishes on cards. Maybe yours is one short line, something like "Can't wait to watch you two start this chapter." You put a small QR sign next to the pen cup so the table does double duty.
Each guest scans it, joins with no account, and snaps a quick photo of their card or of the bride reading it. Guests can also join with an eight-character invite if a camera is not handy. The photos land in one shared event album instead of staying on individual phones.
Gift opening
Gift opening is where everyone raises a phone at once. With the album set to reveal after the event, the bride is not handed a live feed of herself while she is mid-wrapping-paper. Everyone shoots freely, and she opens the gallery later, when the event ends.
If you would rather give her a little breathing room, you can choose a delay of a few hours after the end time. You decide when the pictures show up, so the surprise stays yours to plan.
The friend who can't make it
A friend lives two cities away and sends her wishes by message. Guests at the shower take photos of the day, and you can share the invite link so she can join from any modern phone browser, with no app install needed.
Once the reveal time arrives, she sees the day through everyone's eyes. Her written wishes still travel the way they always did, by message or on a card, while the photos arrive in the shared album.
After the party
The morning after, you open the album and use the filter by photographer to see one friend's shots, then export your favorites. You can set them next to the written wishes in a keepsake for the bride.
The words and the photos finally sit side by side, and you did not have to message a dozen people to get there.
Features that make this work
QR code and invite
Guests scan one QR code on the card table or join with an eight-character invite. No account required, so nobody has to sign up while holding a plate of cake.
Reveal modes
You choose whether the bride sees photos live, after the event, or a set number of hours after it ends. A surprise stays a surprise.
Guest upload
Everyone at the shower adds their own shots to one album, so you are not the only photographer and not the one collecting files afterwards. The free tier covers up to 7 guest uploaders per event.
Private event albums
The album belongs to the event. We don't sell your photos or your data, and there are no ads and no cross-app tracking.
