You can't be at every table or catch every reunion on the dance floor. And afterward, you don't want your guests' photos scattered across separate messages. If you're shopping for cameras for wedding guests, sync.camera is a phone-based option for collecting their photos in one shared event album. It doesn't supply physical cameras or replace your professional photographer. Your guests capture the day from their seats, and you choose when the gallery opens.
What is hard right now
- We'll miss the little moments happening at every table.
- I don't want to spend the week after our wedding asking everyone to send their photos.
- Some guests have iPhones and others have Android phones. I need a way for both to join.
- I want guests to contribute photos during the reception, but save the gallery reveal for afterward.
Scenarios
Bring both families into the album before the reception
Your aunt has an Android phone. Your best friend has an iPhone. You want both to share the moments happening at their tables. Start by creating an event, naming it and picking an end time. Then place your event's QR code invite on reception tables, with the eight-character invite as another way to join.
Your guests can join through the invite link in any modern phone browser, with no account required. Installing the iOS or Android app is optional. That makes cross-platform joining useful when both families arrive with different phones.
Free to start. Upgrade per event. The free tier supports up to 7 guest uploaders per event. For a larger guest list, SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands guest and photo limits for a single event. Upgrade again only when you create a larger event.
Give each part of your wedding its own moment
Your cousin photographs the ceremony exit, while your friends catch the reception hugs and after-party dancing. Use Moments to split your wedding event into stages such as ceremony, reception and after-party. Each stage has its own QR code and reveal timing.
Your guests can move between Moments without switching apps. Choose reveal timing for each stage so you can give each part of the celebration its own gallery opening.
Save the reception gallery for a shared reveal
You want your guests to capture the laughter between speeches, but save browsing the photos for later. Choose After the event to unlock the gallery when your event ends. Or choose Additional delay to unlock it a set number of hours after the event ends.
If you'd prefer everyone to see photos live as they are taken, choose During. These reveal modes let you decide whether sharing the gallery belongs in the celebration or afterward.
Find your sister's candids after the wedding
Suppose your sister catches your grandparents laughing together while you're greeting guests across the room. After the wedding, you remember her taking photos but don't know which shots were hers. Filter the album by photographer to narrow it to her contributions.
Once you've found those candids, export your favorites. You can pick the guest photos you want to keep, including moments you never saw on the day.
