Disposable cameras for your party, minus the film and the lost rolls

Guests scan a QR code and shoot from their own phones. You choose when the gallery unlocks, so the reveal still feels like opening an envelope of prints.

You are hosting a party and you love the disposable camera idea: candid, unposed, a little surprising. But you know the catch. A stack of cameras costs money, guests forget them on tables, and weeks later you are still waiting on developing. You want that same candid energy, with every guest's photos landing in one private place that only your people can see.

What is hard right now

  • I bought a dozen disposable cameras and half of them ended the night in a coat pile or the wrong car.
  • Rolls only hold so many shots, and I won't know what is on them until they are developed and scanned.
  • I do not want to chase 30 guests for the photos they took on their own phones.
  • Guests will not install an app or make an account just to share a few pictures at a party.
  • I want the photos kept private, not posted to a public feed or sold on.

Scenarios

A birthday party with a reveal at the end

You create an event, name it and pick an end time. Put the QR code on the table and your guests join in seconds, with no account required. Nobody has to hunt for a camera or remember to hand it back.

Pick the "After the event" reveal mode and nobody sees any photos until the party ends. The gallery unlocks the way a developed roll would, except there is no film to drop off and no wait. You can read more about how reveal modes work, or see how birthday parties use the same setup.

A bigger party with Android and iPhone guests

Half the room is on Android, half is on iPhone. It does not matter. Everyone joins from a QR code or an eight-character invite in their phone browser, so nobody has to install anything first.

The app is optional. Guests who do want it get better camera controls and push notifications for new photos, but the rest of your crowd can shoot from any modern phone browser. The free tier covers up to 7 guest uploaders per event, and SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands the guest and photo limits for a single event if your party is bigger.

A party that moves from dinner to dancing

Use Moments to split the night into stages such as dinner and after-party. Each stage gets its own QR code and its own reveal timing, and guests move between them without switching apps.

When you want to relive one friend's night, the filter by photographer view narrows the album to just that person's shots. It is the part of a pile of disposable cameras you could never do: know who took what, without opening a single envelope.

The morning after

With the "Additional delay" reveal mode, the gallery unlocks a set number of hours after the event ends. You wake up, the photos are ready, and the reveal happens over breakfast.

Scroll through everyone's candids in one place, then export your favorites. No chasing guests for the pictures they took on their own phones, and no waiting on a lab.
