If you’re choosing an instant camera for wedding guest book snapshots, you may picture familiar faces beside handwritten messages. You also want photos from guests who never reach the table. sync.camera can accompany your physical guest book by collecting digital photos from your guests’ phones in a shared event gallery. You can revisit their perspectives after the wedding and export your favorites. Instant cameras, physical prints and handwritten messages remain separate.
What is hard right now
- We want photos of the people celebrating with us, including everyone who misses the guest book table.
- We don’t want guests to create an account or install an app just to contribute a wedding photo.
- We want to enjoy the photos together after the wedding without asking everyone to send theirs separately.
- We want our wedding photos kept private, with no ads or cross-app tracking.
Scenarios
Give guests a photo option beside the guest book
Your cousin reaches the guest book table with an Android phone. The next guest has an iPhone. Place your event QR code beside the paper book so both can open the invite link in a modern phone browser and contribute digital photos. No account is required. The iOS and Android apps are optional.
You can keep your instant camera and handwritten messages at the same table. sync.camera collects digital photos; it does not supply cameras, make instant prints or collect written messages. Printing and assembling your physical guest book happen separately.
Plan for how many guests will contribute. Free to start. Upgrade per event. The free tier supports up to 7 guest uploaders per event. SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands guest and photo limits for a single event. Upgrade again only when you create a larger event.
Collect the reception moments you didn’t see
Your college friends take a group photo at their table while you’re greeting relatives across the room. Put the invitation QR code on table cards so they can contribute to your event without visiting the guest book table. Their photo gives you another view of the celebration to enjoy afterward.
Use Moments to separate your ceremony, reception and after-party. Each Moment has its own QR code and reveal timing, so you can place the relevant code where guests will see it. Your guests can move between Moments without switching apps.
Save the gallery reveal for after the celebration
You want to enjoy the reception now and browse your guests’ photos together the next morning. Create your event, name it and pick an end time. Choose After the event to unlock the gallery when the event ends, or Additional delay to unlock it a set number of hours later. Set that delay to fit your morning plans.
If you’d like your guests to see photos throughout the wedding, choose During. Photos appear live as they are taken. Pick the reveal mode that fits how you want to share the day.
Find your favorite guest perspectives afterward
Your sister tells you she captured a candid sequence with your grandparents. After the wedding, filter the album by photographer to narrow it to her contributions. Revisit those moments together, then export your favorites.
If you want those images beside messages in your physical guest book, arrange the printing and assembly separately. sync.camera gives you a way to collect and export the digital photos; it does not provide printing services or automatically create a photo book.
