You are hosting an event, maybe a birthday, a corporate mixer, a family reunion, or a wedding with more than one stage. You want the photos your guests take, not just the ones from a single camera. What you do not want is to chase people in a group chat a week later, ask anyone to install something, or hand their pictures to an ad network. You need one simple entry point that works for the guest who scans it at the door and for the guest who walks in two hours late. That is a QR code for events that puts every guest's photos in one album.
What is hard right now
- I asked guests to send me their photos, and a week later I have three. The rest are still on their phones.
- Half my guests are on iPhone and half on Android, and nobody wants to download an app or make an account just to upload a few pictures.
- I do not want every photo showing up live on a screen the moment it is taken. Some events need the reveal to wait.
- I have no idea who is going to see these photos, or what the app does with them afterward.
- My event has stages, like a ceremony, a reception, and an after-party, and one big pile of photos is hard to sort.
Scenarios
Birthday parties
You print a big QR code and set it on the cake table. Guests scan it with their phone camera, join from the browser with the invite link, and add shots as the night goes on. Nobody has to hunt for an app store listing while the candles are melting.
You pick a reveal mode so the gallery opens when the party ends, and the surprise stays a surprise. The free tier covers up to 7 guest uploaders per event, which fits a small gathering. Free to start. Upgrade per event.
Multi-stage events like weddings
You split the day into Moments, such as ceremony, reception, and after-party. Each Moment gets its own QR code and its own reveal timing, so one big pile of photos turns into three albums you can actually sort.
Guests move between Moments without switching apps. A late arrival scans the reception code and is in.
Corporate events and conferences
You put the QR code on a slide and on table cards. Attendees join with the eight-character invite or the QR code, with no account to create, so you are not running tech support at the registration desk.
You name the event and pick an end time. After it ends, you can filter by photographer to see one contributor's shots and export your favorites.
Family reunions
Aunt Sarah is on Android and the family group chat is mostly iOS, so photos get lost in the thread. With one QR code on the welcome table, everyone joins from a phone browser, and the album fills in one place.
Installing the iOS or Android app is optional. It adds better camera controls and push notifications for new photos, but nobody needs it to take part.
Features that make this work
QR code invites
Guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite, with no account required, so you do not have to explain anything at the door.
Big QR code
A code that is easy to scan from across a table or off a screen means fewer of your guests miss the album.
Reveal modes
You choose During, After the event, or Additional delay, so the gallery opens when it suits your event.
Guest upload
Guests add their own photos from any modern phone browser, so you collect shots from every angle instead of one camera.
Private event albums
Photos are stored in event-scoped storage with per-event access rules. We don't sell your photos or your data. No ads. No cross-app tracking.
