Play the bridal shower games, then keep every photo from them

You found the bridal shower game templates. Now give your guests one QR code so the photos from each game end up in one private album, not scattered across fifteen phones.

You are the maid of honor, a bridesmaid, or the friend who volunteered to host the bridal shower. You have the game templates picked out (bingo, a who-knows-the-bride quiz, a toilet-paper gown race) and you are busy with the printing, the prizes and the timing. sync.camera does not provide the games; those come from wherever you found your templates. What it covers is the part nobody plans for: the photos. The best shots happen mid-game, and they usually end up on guests' phones, in a group chat, or never get shared at all. You want the bride to open one album afterwards and see them all.

What is hard right now

  • I print the templates and run the games, but the funniest photos are on twelve different phones and I never see most of them.
  • I asked everyone to text me their pictures after the shower. Two people did, and the rest said they would send them later.
  • Half the guests are on Android and half are on iPhone, and I don't want to make anyone download an app or make an account just to share a photo.
  • The bride should be surprised by the photos too, but the group chat shows everything the moment someone posts it.

Scenarios

The game table

Print your game templates, then put a small sign with the sync.camera QR code on the table next to the pencils. Guests scan it and join from their phone browser. No account is required, and installing the app is optional, so nobody has to set anything up while the bingo cards are being handed out.

When the bride's grandmother wins bingo or the bridesmaids finish the gown race, anyone nearby can take the photo and it lands in the same album. You are not chasing people for pictures later, because the pictures are already in one place. The same QR code works for other parties on your calendar too, such as the bachelorette party or an engagement party.

Keeping the bride surprised

You create the event, name it and pick an end time. Then you choose a reveal mode. 'After the event' unlocks the gallery when the event ends, and 'Additional delay' unlocks it a set number of hours later. Guests can still add photos, and the bride is not scrolling through them mid-party.

If you would rather everyone enjoy the photos live, choose 'During' and guests see them as they are taken. It is your call as the host, and you can make it based on whether this shower is a surprise-the-bride kind of afternoon. If you want more detail on the options, see reveal timing.

After the games, the keepsake

The next morning you open the album and export your favorites: the bride mid-quiz, the group shot with the finished gown. Use 'Filter by photographer' to see what one guest captured, for example the aunt who took the whole gown-race sequence.

If your shower has more than 7 guest uploaders, note that the free tier covers up to 7 guest uploaders per event. SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands the guest and photo limits for that single event. Planning a baby shower or other bridal party photos next? You upgrade again only when you create a larger event.
