You are the person organizing the event: a wedding, a party, a reunion or a company gathering. You want the photos your guests take, not just the ones from one camera. You do not want to chase people for files afterwards, ask them to make accounts, or hand your photos to a platform that sells them. An event photo sharing platform should do the collecting for you, so you create the event, name it, pick an end time, and let your guests do the rest.
What is hard right now
- I asked everyone to send me their photos, and a week later I have three of them scattered across texts and email.
- Half my guests are on iPhone and half on Android, and nobody wants to download an app or sign up just to share a few pictures.
- I want the photos to stay with the people at my event, not end up on a platform that sells my data.
- I want guests to enjoy the moment, not see a live feed of everyone's photos while the party is still going.
Scenarios
Weddings with a ceremony, reception and after-party
You create the event, name it and pick an end time. Then you use Moments to split the day into stages, such as ceremony, reception and after-party. Each stage gets its own QR code and its own reveal timing.
Guests move between stages without switching apps, so the photos from the aisle, the dance floor and the late-night send-off all end up in the same place. You and your partner see the whole day in one album.
Birthday and family parties with guests on every phone
Aunt Sarah is on Android and the family group chat is iOS. It does not matter. She scans the QR code or types the eight-character invite, joins from her phone browser with no account, and her photos land in the same album as everyone else's.
Installing the iOS or Android app is optional. It adds better camera controls and push notifications for new photos, but nobody has to do it to take part in your party.
Conferences and corporate events
Attendees join from a QR code on a badge or a screen. You choose how the album opens up. Pick During, and people see photos live as they are taken. Pick After the event, and the gallery unlocks when the event ends.
When you are going through the album later, use Filter by photographer to narrow it to one contributor's shots. If you run these often, see how corporate events and conferences work in more detail.
Surprise reveals
Pick After the event, or Additional delay to unlock the gallery a set number of hours after the event ends. Your guests keep shooting without peeking at what everyone else caught.
When the moment comes, everyone gets the photos at the same time. You can then export your favorites.
Features that make this work
Guest upload
Guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite with no account required, so you get photos from people who would never install an app for your event.
Reveal modes
As host you decide whether guests see photos live, after the event, or after an additional delay.
QR code invites
One code on a table card, screen or badge replaces the group-text request, and Moments give each stage of your event its own code.
Private events
Photos are encrypted in transit, stored in event-scoped buckets and protected by per-event row-level security. sync.camera does not sell your photos or your data, shows no ads, and does no cross-app tracking.
