You are planning a wedding, or you are the person organizing it for a couple. Your photographer will cover the posed shots. Your guests will catch the rest: the grandfather mid-dance, the table at 11pm, the toast from the back row. You want all of it in one album, not scattered across a dozen phones, texts, emails and group chats, with the ceremony, reception and after-party shots mixed into one pile. You want it private, because these are your people and your day. And you want to open the photos when you are ready, without guests posting live and spoiling the moments for the people who could not come.
What is hard right now
- The best candids are on my guests' phones, and I will never see them unless I chase everyone for weeks after the wedding.
- Half the guests are on iPhone and half on Android, so whatever shared album we pick, somebody can't get in or has to make an account first.
- I do not want my wedding photos on a public page, sold, or used for ads. I just want my guests and me to see them.
Scenarios
At the ceremony and reception
You put a QR code on a sign at the door and on each table. A guest scans it with their phone camera, or types the eight-character invite, and uploads from a phone browser. No account is required, and installing the app is optional.
Your Android relatives and your iPhone friends join the same way. Their shots land in the same album as everyone else's, so you never have to chase anyone for a link. For a longer walkthrough, see how to collect wedding photos from guests without the chaos.
Ceremony, reception, after-party
You use Moments to split the day into stages. The ceremony, the reception and the after-party each get their own QR code and their own reveal timing. Guests move between stages without switching apps.
Afterwards, you can see which photos came from which part of the day, instead of sorting one big pile by hand.
Keeping the surprise until you're ready
You pick a reveal mode when you create the event. Choose During, and guests see photos live as they are taken. Choose After the event, and the gallery unlocks when the event ends. Or choose Additional delay, and it unlocks a set number of hours after the event ends.
If you want to open the photos together on the honeymoon, the delay is made for that. Nobody posts live, and nobody spoils the day for the people who could not come.
The week after the wedding
You open the album and filter by photographer to see one guest's shots, such as your college roommate who photographed the whole after-party. You export your favorites to keep, and you share the album link with family who could not attend.
The photos stay private. We don't sell your photos or your data, and there are no ads.
Features that make this work
QR code photo sharing for weddings
Guests scan a code on a table card or sign and upload straight from their phone, so you do not have to chase anyone for photos later.
Guest upload
Guests join from a QR code or an eight-character invite without creating an account, so your Android relatives and your iPhone friends can all add photos.
Reveal modes
You choose whether guests see photos during the wedding, after it ends, or a set number of hours later, so you control when the album opens.
Private event albums
Photos are encrypted in transit and stored in event-scoped buckets. We don't sell your photos or your data, and there are no ads.
Downloads
After the wedding you can export your favorites and keep the shots that matter most.
