You're planning your wedding, and your tying the knot wedding site is filling up with the day's details. Alongside the schedule and directions, you want one clear place where guests can contribute their photos, so the reception candids and family reunions are easy to revisit without chasing separate messages. sync.camera is the guest photo album you can link to from your wedding site. It sits next to your site; it doesn't replace it.
What is hard right now
- We'll be busy getting married. We want to see the moments happening around us.
- Our guests have different phones. We don't want everyone to download an app or create an account.
- We don't want to spend our first week married asking everyone to send their photos.
- We want to choose whether guests see photos during the wedding or afterward.
Scenarios
Give guests a photo destination before the wedding
You create an event, name it, and pick an end time. Then you add its invite link to the guest information on your wedding site, right next to the details about the day.
Your cousin opens it on Android while your sister opens it on her iPhone. Both can join from a modern phone browser with no account, and installing the app is optional. Guests can also join with an eight-character invite if they'd rather type it in. If you want ideas for what to ask guests to capture, see wedding guest photo ideas.
Catch the reception moments you miss
You're greeting relatives while friends photograph your grandparents dancing. Those are exactly the shots you can't take yourself. Place the event QR code on reception tables so guests can scan, join, and contribute their photos without asking you how.
Choose During reveal mode if you want guests to see photos live as they are taken. Your tables fill the album while you stay in the room.
Give each part of the celebration its own timing
Say you want ceremony photos held until that stage ends, but reception photos visible during the party. Use Moments to split the event into ceremony, reception, and after-party stages. Each stage gets its own QR code and its own reveal timing.
Guests move between stages without switching apps, so nobody has to work out where a photo belongs.
Revisit the day together after the celebration
You'd like your first look through guest photos to happen over breakfast together, not in a week of follow-up messages. Set an additional delay of a chosen number of hours after the event ends, and the gallery unlocks on your schedule. For more on skipping the chase, read how to collect wedding photos from guests without the follow-up chase.
Once the gallery unlocks, filter by photographer to find your sister's shots, then export your favorites.
sync.camera is free to start, and you upgrade per event. The free tier allows up to 7 guest uploaders per event. If your guest list is larger, SYNC PRO is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, that expands the guest and photo limits for a single event. You upgrade again only when you create a larger event.
Ready to try it? Create a wedding event, name it, pick its end time, and share the invite on your wedding site.
